Inspired by reading book on American Indian  sayings/thoughts/traditions etc.  I can't find it right now but I think the gist of the writings were that anything you do in this world should be done with the thoughts of if in 40 generations time your actions will have cauded no harm to their world......  It was put MUCH better than that of course. I was really inspired at the time by the book and the image of generations stretching out behind and before you inspired this picture.  I've thought of this much more since having children, as at that point, for me,  the future seemed to materialise and I could sense the generations to come.

 The end product I wasn't very pleased with, as I'd completely overdone it.  I tweaked it a little on Gimp and came out with a cool looking purple thing, then I thought I'd adjust light/hue etc. etc. to 40 and see what turned up.  Some things didn't work so I put it to -40, and this is the result........

I like the idea of weaving it all in...
