Taken from and inspired by various images of venus figures, such as the Venus of Willendorf and pregnant women, from personal experience and general research of library books and the internet.

Pencil crayon and ink on paper. Re-worked the cover to Donovan's 'Mellow Yellow' (cover art by Mick Taylor and Sheena McCall). Changed colour to purple in order to highlight the colour yellow by removing it; making the viewer approach the drawing differently.
